We want to give a HUGE “Thank You” to everyone who supported the Month of Chocolate this year, especially our sponsors, auction item donors, event hosts, event attendees, volunteers, and employees who dedicated their time to help with this special event. We would not be here without your continuous support and commitment to LIFEDesigns. We are thrilled to report that a net profit of $20,895 was raised for individuals with disabilities!
Despite the challenges and restrictions, we all faced this year, we are beyond thankful and thrilled our community and Month of Chocolate partners were able to adapt to this new virtual world and help us continue the tradition of this special celebration. The funds raised during the Month of Chocolate help us expand our programs and provide the necessary services our clients need to live as independently as they can. We hope to develop more events and raise increased funds for our clients to provide them with opportunities for growth and independence that Medicaid services simply don’t fund.
Thank you for supporting LIFEDesigns and the Month of Chocolate!

This year’s show will include some special super-busy celebrities who are able to participate because it is a virtual event, so you won’t want to miss it! For the first time ever, DSFC also hosted a silent auction in conjunction with the fashion show, featuring many items donated by our celebrities, as well as many other surprises!
Bloomington has been celebrating the Month of Chocolate since 1997! For over 20 years, local businesses have hosted chocolate-themed events that celebrate a love of chocolate that goes back to ancient times! Each year, there are over 10 events with different themes. Not only are these events fun and interesting, but they also offer an opportunity to raise funds to support various causes in the community.
Click here to take a walk down this lane of chocolate memories and see how this community-wide event has evolved over the years!
