The 2011 Fuse Business Innovation awards were presented Thursday at a luncheon at the Bloomington/Monroe County Convention Center, as follows:
- Small Business Advocate of the Year: Mike Gentile, Crane Technology Inc.
- Social Entrepreneur of the Year: Susan Rinne, CEO of Options
- Community Service Award: Ivy Tech Community College, Bloomington campus
- Microenterprise of the Year: Twisted Limb Paperworks
- Innovative Business of the Year: Chalk Labs, LLC
- Entrepreneurial Growth Award: New Power Solutions
- Bill and Gayle Cook Entrepreneur of the Year: Pat East, Hanapin Marketing
Jim Inman served as master of ceremonies for the presentation, hosted by the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center. The keynote speaker was Josh Bleill, community spokesman for the Indianapolis Colts.
