March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! To celebrate this special month, we are sharing a few stories from our clients that spotlight their success. Although we are proud of our clients each and every day, we are excited to take part in this national campaign, created by the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD).
The NACDD states that this campaign seeks to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all facets of community life, as well as awareness of the barriers that people with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live. To celebrate and honor this month of awareness, we’re spotlighting some of our clients that prove their disability does not limit their abilities to work, live, and participate in everyday life activities.
