Job Description – LIFEDesigns, Inc. Volunteer INTERN Position
To partner with and promote independence for people with disabilities.
Role: Community Engagement Intern
Supervisor: Community Engagement Coordinator
General responsibilities: LIFEDesigns provides services for over 345 customers. This role will play a major part in LIFEDesigns moving to a more inclusive community services as well as support the engagement efforts of the company. The successful candidate will have excellent organization skills, people skills, knowledge about disability services, and a want to make other’s lives better.
Projects include: Plan and implement opportunities for Client’s to go into the community and work on Health and Wellness activities. Help plan and implement community events and outings for LIFEDesigns Clients, employees, and their families. Help plan and implement volunteer recruiting events. Other Administrative tasks as assigned by Community Engagement Coordinator or Director of Employment and Community Services.

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Documentation of freedom from communicable diseases
- Acceptable criminal history check
